Landscape forms an integral part of Architectural design and we place a lot of focus on ensuring that the external spaces and landscaping are seen as an extension of the building design.
In our generally mild climate the garden is effectively another series of ‘rooms’ of the house where similar design principles and spatial planning principles can be applied albeit using a completely different palette of materials and finishes which constantly change with the seasons!
We have recently undertaken a number of stand-alone landscape design projects where we are not necessarily designing the building itself. We have established relationships with experienced landscaping contractors and plant specialists with whom we work and are keen to grow this aspect of the Practice.
